LensFx is a free Windows app and in each of the sections, Light Hits, Overlays and Nature, there are many filter effects. Some effects suit one type of photo, like a landscape, some suit other types, like people shots or indoors. I like LensFx a lot and there are so many effects to experiment with, you can spend hours with it. I suspect it does keep the original size in the paid app, but even if it doesn’t, the free app’s 1200 pixels is a decent size for sharing on social media sites or for use on websites in blogs and so on. I certainly hope so, but I could find no mention of this. This could be a limitation of the free version I used and maybe paying enables photos to be saved at the source resolution. You can have a lot of fun experimenting with effects and if you don’t like an effect or want to start again, the layer can simply be deleted and a new one added. Once you get the hang of it, quite a lot can be done with these photo effects.
